The Lawton Philharmonic Society, Inc. presented its first concert, a volunteer effort, in November 1962. LPO has been bringing many decades of music to the citizens of Lawton Fort Sill and the surrounding. The orchestra has evolved from its volunteer status to approximately 84 professional musicians. From then to now, LPO has served as Southwest Oklahoma’s only professional orchestra. LPO has always focused on educational opportunities for area students of all ages in addition to its concert series. Lawton Philharmonic Orchestra's Maestro is Jon Kalbfleisch.
The Lawton Philharmonic Orchestra Society is devoted to promoting musical and educational activities to further musical understanding and appreciation in Southwest Oklahoma. The Society creates, organizes, maintains, and controls a symphony orchestra in Lawton. The orchestra has been presenting concerts since 1962, evolving from its volunteer beginnings to approximately 84 professional musicians. The society's goals include presenting quality symphonic music and education to tens of thousands of patrons each year and involving approximately 7000 area school students in symphonic music.

Founded in 1952, the Lawton Community is the longest-running community theatre in Oklahoma. LCT has been in operation for over 72 years with over 350 shows, and counting. From cabaret theatre to musical theatre auditions, LCT is a vibrant performing arts theatre and has something for everyone.
The mission of Lawton Community Theatre is to produce professional quality theatre; to encourage and educate talented individuals; to promote collaboration among the arts; and to enrich quality of life for the people of South West Oklahoma. As part of their outreach to area school children, LCT members reach more than 5000 students each year helping them learn about
theatre and the performing arts.

The Wichita Wildlight Photographic Society (WWPS) is dedicated to people interested in any aspect of photography, and has served Lawton Fort Sill, OK and the surrounding area since 1991.
The group is focused on enjoying the art and fun of photography, sharing knowledge and learning, improving the photographic skills of members, and supporting the arts and community.
As a public service, the group presents monthly classes on photography that are free and open to the public. WWPS members also teach free classes and workshops to civic groups, other organizations, and nearly 500 children in area schools each year.
They welcome anyone with an interest in photography of
any kind and of any skill level.
WWPS have several overall objectives:
Our meetings are open to the public without cost or obligation. You don’t need to pay dues, or have a membership card to attend our regular monthly meetings. If you have an interest in
photography, you are welcome to attend. No reservation is required. Just show up.
Most meetings will have a guest speaker on one of a variety of subjects about photography. For example, we’ve had lessons on lenses, exposure, light meters, depth of field, histograms, digital painting, posing, lighting, portraits, landscapes, sports, plus astrophotography, wildlife, automobiles, re-enactments, crime photography, and much, much more.

The mission of the Lawton Fort Sill Art Council is to provide opportunities for community members to experience
art in unique ways.
The Lawton Fort Sill Art Council was founded in 1955, and is open to anyone who desires to participate. The council is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the appreciation, enjoyment, education, and distribution of all types of art with the
Lawton-Fort Sill community.
The council is run entirely by volunteers who maintain a beautiful facility in which the public can view various forms of art and participate in educational workshops. LFSAC gather monthly with meetings including an artist demonstration and/or lecture. As part of the council's outreach mission, the demonstrations are free and open to the public. The council also presents many hands-on workshops on days other than meetings.
LFSAC is dedicated to enriching the lives of area children and
reaches more than 1,000 children each year.
LFSAC offers residents hands-on art creation experiences through their First Saturday of the Month Kids Arts & Craft Workshops, and the monthly Community Art Night taught by local artists.
All skill levels are welcome to join the workshops.
The workshops are free and open to the public.

Lawton's Chamber Choir
Lawton Pro Musica Choir is a gathering of people who love to sing and bring that love and energy to every performance. The choir has been entertaining and energizing audiences in Lawton Fort Sill and Southwest Oklahoma for more than 20 years.
Lawton Pro Musica Choir features some of Southwest Oklahoma's finest singers as they endeavor to enrich Lawton and the surrounding area with concerts of outstanding choral music.
Pro Musica provides performance opportunities for area vocal artists, educates, inspires singers young and older, and enhances the quality of life for area citizens.
They perform a broad section of literature from classic choral, vocal jazz, Broadway, popular standards, and opera choruses. Audiences are encouraged to have as much fun as the choir and
are invited to sing along!
